On August 31, 2015, there will be a new winner of the Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award from The New Quarterly based in Waterloo. I do have an entry in this award, but I'm not expecting to win. I am excited because I've held this story back from publication during the adjudication process, and on August 31, I can finally post my story online!
I'm also looking forward to reading and discovering the winning and shortlisted entries in this contest. The short story form is always fascinating and I can't wait to see them!
