NOTE: this trip didn't happen - life got in the way.
It's been a while since the last post, but I'm here to announce the beginning of the planning phase for:
Bike X-mas 2004: Vancouver - San Francisco - Vancouver
Single Leg distance: 1274 km = 792 miles = 688 nm
Single Leg timing: 8 days @ 150 km per day
Planned route: take the Pacific Coast Highway US1 / US101
Planned contingency: leave bike at uncle george's, and bus on return trip

I will be graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English Literature in May 2005, with all coursework completed in December of this year. It's been a long time coming, and I hope I can live up to my dreams. The future is waiting.
I've just finished reading Takedown: The fall of the Last Mafia Empire by Rick Cowan and Douglas Century. Wow, what a great read! The New York Mafia has become my new inspiration, and Danny, my hero.
