I believe I found a spelling error in the german (p 104):
Rube, jetzt. Warten.
should be
Ruhe, jetzt. Warten.
It makes me feel sad that the only comment I can make in this journal at this time is a trivial technicality. Is this how the editors and translators felt when they worked with the text? That the edits stand so insignificant compared to the desperation of the original material.
It may just be one mistranscribed character, but I feel that Primo Levi deserves to have his story told, without spelling mistakes where he did not mean them.
I have reached the Canto of Ulysses.
